CyberDefender Corporation, the security developer has released its latest CyberDefender Phishing Alert. The CyberDefender Phishing Alert is a phishing attack report highlighting recent phishing scams that are plaguing Internet users and exposing them to identity theft.
The act of sending an e-mail to a user falsely claiming to be an established legitimate enterprise in an attempt to scam the user into surrendering private information that will be used for identity theft.
Currently the Internet's top risks include four active phishing scams targeting users of eBay and PayPal. CyberDefender’s free Security Toolbar users are automatically protected against these and other phishing attacks and fake sites.
