This way the companies can make various changes in their price or service policy to better meet the needs of their customers.

As one uses Twitter to find the customers, it is also possible to find suppliers there. For example, Crowdspring portal where business representatives and graphic designers meet, used Twitter to form its author collective. The same way you can receive the favorable offers from the local hotels, transport companies or tourist agencies after placing the message in Twitter that you plan to visit some city during your business trip.

Any company can find itself in the difficult situation and the key moment is the cooperation with the clients. And one of the best ways of direct contacting is Twitter. For example, the cable provider Comcast notified its clients through Twitter that the reason of interruption of the broadcast of Davis Cup in April 2009 is the storm and the broadcast would recommence soon. It is important that the clients know what steps are taken to settle the problem.

Sodexo Company managing the public catering establishments uses Twitter and other social nets to train the HR specialists. The automotive program circulates the letters to the potential employees when the company has the vacancy. 30 percent of messages reach the addressees. The messages are very personal and attractive to give people the understanding whether they would like to work in this company or not. Twitter also helps in settling the possible problems. Moreover, if 1000 people answer you now that means that in 30 seconds 100,000 people will know about your problem. It helps settling the problem indeed.

Nobody likes when he is asked to donate money neither is real life nor in Internet. But there is more effective tactics – to inform instead of asking. Nonprofit institution Epic Change launched Tweetsgiving web-site together with Kbuzz firm at Thanksgiving Day. The visitors were asked to send messages about whom and for what they are thankful. The answers were placed at #tweetsgiving and the link led back to Tweetsgiving site where the visitors could donate money for building schools in Tanzania. The action lasted for 48 hours: from 15,000 visitors 360 donated totally $11,000.
