A report made by CNBC shows that e-commerce is incessantly changing and developing which may be seen from constant measure taken by both big and small names in order to increase their market share in new ways.
Today more conventional merchants are searching for the opportunities to sell online while proven online retailers are studying facilities to establish a physical retail presence.
Recently online fashion site Asos.com provided figures that show significant increases in sales for the last financial year.
"People choose to shop on the internet for value, choice and convenience - it's nothing to do with the economy," said Nick Robertson, Asos.com chief executive.
Moreover, the market was improved at the expense of the rise of the multi-channel approach to retail. Now Asos.com is planning to open its first physical shop.
"It illustrates the changing face of retail that a company like Asos can even contemplate a retail outlet," he said.
Certainly, internet commerce goes on exuberant. During May British customers spent more than £4.5 billion shopping online.
