PayPal is glad to offer new Mobile App for Android

PayPal is now delighted to announce new version of mobile app for Android phones.

The new Android app features the latest technology, like PayPal Mobile app on the iPhone.  The new app lets Android phone holders simply tap two phones together to send money. One more important feature, Split the check, allows users to automatically calculate the total cost of a bill and then collect money directly from friends when out to dinner.

As believes Laura Chambers, senior director of PayPal Mobile, these new features make it even easier to get paid back on the spot every time a user’s stuck picking up the tab.

The new version of PayPal Mobile for Android application is free, easy to download and available now in the Android Market.

It’s important to underline, over the last 5 years PayPal mobile applications are available the usage of phones as a payment tool has surged dramatically.

Over the last six months alone, PayPal generated nearly twice the mobile payment volume it did in all of 2009
