PayPal will try to break in Japanese market

PayPal plans to break in the profitable break in the Japanese market   by making an effort to enter it, despite the absence of eBay in the country.

eBay left the Japanese market in 2002, the same year it acquired PayPal, conceding the country to Yahoo Japan.

allpay Limited announced that it was granted Visa Card manufacturing and Bureau accreditation. Hereford-based company allpay partnered with Visa to pass the strict accreditation. Initially achieving Visa Bureau Vendor status, Visa Manufacturing Accreditation followed shortly after and includes card production and EMV chip embedding.

allpay can now offer its clients full Visa EMV production and services from its purpose built, highly secure production area which was developed with an investment in excess of £2 million.

PayPal deprives Indian customers of option to withdraw funds electronically

PayPal has unveiled its intention to deprive its Indian customers of the ability to withdraw funds from accounts electronically.

Earlier this year, the e-payments company had to suspend temporarily personal payment transactions from and to India, when the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) concluded that PayPal was not in compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

MoneyGram expands its network in Paraguay

MoneyGram International has added three new agents to its network in Paraguay. The new agent partners include Banco Familiar, Cambios Chaco and Multicambios.

Banco Familiar is a leading consumer bank in Paraguay, and has one of the largest banking branch networks in the country. Cambios Chaco, with 20 locations, and Multicambios with 30 branches - the most in the country - are experienced foreign exchange agencies. Banco Familiar and Cambios Chaco were formerly agents of MoneyGram's main competitor and now are offering MoneyGram services.

MoneyGram services will be provided by the largest Russian bank

MoneyGram has added the Savings Bank of the Russian Federation (Sberbank) to its remittances network. Now Sberbank, the oldest and largest bank in Russia as well as Eastern Europe, will be MoneyGram’s largest agent in the region. Initially, the bank will provide MoneyGram services in over 7,000 locations across the country.
