Luciano VIETTO to Fulham, Federico FERNANDEZ off to Newcastle United

The former Racing Club man has bounced around since moving to Europe but now he has landed in England.

Manchester United are working on a deal to send Timothy Fosu-Mensah on loan to Premier League newcomers Fulham, according to reports.

"We knew we had to make a serious investment with the squad to be the strong Premier League team we aspired to be", said Tony Khan, speaking to Telegraph Sport. "I'm excited to start to train and above all enjoy a season that starts on Saturday".

"We've made a great investment in the transfer market and I'm hoping we'll see an immediate benefit".

The Netherlands worldwide, who has made 21 senior appearances for United since his debut under Louis van Gaal in 2016, played 24 games for Palace last season.

"We are looking to build on the hard work and results achieved last season and I believe this is the most important part of making that happen".

Argentine striker Vietto, also 24, has struggled at Atletico since his €20 million move from Villarreal in 2015, scoring just one La Liga goal in 25 games with similarly disappointing spells loan at Sevilla (six goals in 21 league games) and Valencia (two in 14).

The 22-year-old joined Atletico from Deportivo La Coruna earlier this summer and played against Arsenal in the International Champions Cup win last month.
