Liverpool 3-1 Torino: Reds end pre-season with victory at Anfield

The Reds have strengthened their side considerably since last season, bringing in Naby Keita, Xherdan Shaqiri, Alisson and Fabinho.

Potential exits from Anfield before Thursday's transfer deadline could include Danny Ings, Simon Mignolet, Marko Grujic and Divock Origi, who have all been linked with moves away from the Merseyside club.

He is expected to play a major role for Jurgen Klopp's team in their quest for Premier League glory.

On the possibility of ins and outs before the Premier League's transfer deadline, Klopp told reporters: "We will see".

"But I have no idea what will happen in the next two days". You have to wait.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he may have to be creative with his formation in his sides final pre-season game against Torino tomorrow as a defensive injury crisis takes hold.

Torino provided tougher opposition than Napoli and Manchester United in Liverpool's two previous outings but the range of options available to Klopp was again in evidence as Roberto Firmino, Georginio Wijnaldum and Daniel Sturridge all found a way past Salvatore Sirigu in the Italians' goal.

In the second half at Anfield midfielders Fabinho - who missed an early penalty - and Marko Grujic both filled in as Van Dijk only played 45 minutes but Klopp is not anxious ahead of Sunday's visit of West Ham.

Liverpool fans are hoping fervently that their Croatian defender, who recently shaved his head, can build on his displays at the World Cup and have a strong season for the club.

"But it is Hendo, so to be honest in the first session it looked like he trained for the whole three weeks". "It is not about judging our situation and thinking 'Wow, really good.' We need to be ready each week - not only for a few games. I have no clue in the moment what we will do at the weekend".
