Klopp hints at more transfer business for Liverpool

The Mirror suggest that Lyon will demand at least £50m for Fekir and if Chelsea make a formal move for his signature it will be interesting to see if Liverpool decide to renew their interest in the midfielder.

Mohamed Salah had phenomenal debut season with Liverpool this season after he scored 44 goals across all competitions with the club and became the Premier League's best ever goalscorer in a 38-game campaign with 32 goals.

As things stand, Chelsea appear the sole club in the race for Fekir with Liverpool not necessarily needing another attacker following the arrival of Xherdan Shaqiri.

How Liverpool might end up regretting not going back in for Fekir.

He has featured between the sticks against Blackburn Rovers, Manchester City and Manchester United in recent outings.

France Football also add Chelsea have the means to convince Fekir his future lies at Stamford Bridge.

Liverpool have spent the most so far this summer, splurging over £170million on new signings.

"I see them constantly flash up on the TV but I have no idea who's in the lead". But the transfer window is still long and everything goes very quickly in football.

"Playing against Napoli, it was the strongest side we played so far, 100 percent - they had almost a full squad here and it can look completely different".

"I have to watch hurling in Ireland", Klopp told the Liverpool Echo. "I like him a lot and I'm happy we have him in our squad". "He probably won't play Tuesday and Sunday will be very hard as well", continued the German, who is known to stick to a very rigorous training strategy.

"It is a bit like the French national team: a mixture of youngster and older players, with some players more experienced than others".

"I thought he looked very comfortable and I think we adapted to him quite easily".
