Angelina Jolie Says Brad Pitt Hasn’t Paid ‘Meaningful’ Child Support

A source told E News: 'Brad and Angelina are not even close to settling their divorce.

Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie on Tuesday announced that she has chose to go ahead with her divorce with Brad Pitt and wants it finished by the end of 2018.

Jolie's attorney claimed on Tuesday her estranged movie star husband has not paid "any meaningful child support" since their dramatic split in September 2016.

According to TMZ, the documents state that Pitt has not paid "meaningful child support" since they first separated nearly two years ago.

The former Hollywood power couple have been in in the midst of a gruesome divorce negotiation since Jolie filed for divorce in September 2016 after two years of marriage and almost 12 years together.

The document also said that Pitt had "paid no meaningful child support since separation" and said that although informal arrangements had been made with him, payments "had not been regularly sustained".

Brad Pitt's team fired back at Angelina Jolie's claims by insisting he has paid millions to support his children. The documents acknowledge that the duo had an "informal arrangement", but that Pitt has not lived up to that agreement.

Now, she's considering a court order to get the money. The actors are "at an impasse", the source added, so there will be "no settlement or resolution anytime soon".

Pitt's spokesperson has yet to respond to the allegations, which emerge days after Jolie's representative, Mindy Nyby, denied reports suggesting the actress' main attorney, Laura Wasser, had quit over "internal conflicts" regarding the case. Most recently, Jolie and Pitt hashed out a new custody agreement for the summer of 2018. "They are kind of at an impasse at this point because the focus has been on custody; nothing else has been hashed out yet".
