Dublin welcomes Duke and Duchess of Sussex on first overseas trip

The Queen, who didn't attend the christening of Prince Louis, appeared to be in high spirits at the RAF celebration. It's all part of a royal tradition that's been upheld since 1841, when the original infant gown was worn by Queen Victoria's eldest daughter, Victoria, Princess Royal.

The former Army officer, who served in Bosnia and Iraq, first met Harry in the Blues and Royals, a regiment of the Household Cavalry. Catherine's sister Pippa, who is expecting her first child, was also in attendance with her husband James Matthews.

Meghan just made an appearance with the royal family yesterday for the christening of Prince Louis, nephew of Prince Harry and son of Prince William and Kate Middleton. "Please join me in praying for him and his family on this special day".

It will be Prince Harry and Meghan's first trip outside the United Kingdom since their wedding in May.

Harry and Meghan Duchess of Sussex leave after the christening service. According to the site, she also wore matching Manolo Blahnik suede pumps and a hat from Stephen Jones Millinery.

Meghan, who is the newest in-law to be welcomed into the Royal family, may well have been hoping to score some extra brownie points with her clever choice of outfit colour.

Meghan's dress is a bespoke Dior number and is a similar design to the wedding dress she wore to marry Prince Harry.

Prince Louis' godparents have been revealed.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a McQueen cream dress and white floral headpiece by Jane Taylor.

William and Kate's youngest is now fifth in line to the throne, with older siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte fourth and fifth respectively.

While the princes have donned traditional uniform for the occasion, the ladies are wearing dress and hat combos.
