Warriors' Kevin Durant held back from heckling Cavaliers fan

The Golden State Warriors are the 2017-2018 National Basketball Assn. champions, blowing out the Cleveland Cavaliers tonight 108-85 at Quicken Loans Arena in what may be LeBron James's last game for the OH team.

Game 3 hero Kevin Durant "only" scored 20 points in Game 4, but still managed to put together a triple-double (20 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists).

Golden State got about as bad a performance as you'll ever see from Curry, who shot 1-for-10 from 3-point range and finished with 11 points.

Durant is averaging 32 points on 56 percent shooting (47 percent from three), 11 rebounds, and seven assists in the Finals. The officials didn't give him the call, but the shot was true anyway, with Curry holding his arms out in surprise after it hit for three of his game-high 37 points.

The Warriors won only 58 games during the regular season, by far their fewest in this four-year run of excellence, and that included going 7-10 in their final 17 games of the schedule.

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry shoots the ball against Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James in game four of the 2018 NBA Finals at Quicken Loans Arena.

And then, nearly by accident, James delivered a devastating zinger on the former front office of the Trail Blazers, who drafted Greg Oden first overall instead of Durant.

In two finals before the Warriors signed Durant, Golden State split with Cleveland and went 7-6. The Warriors demolished anything left in yet another of their signature third-quarter runs, extending their lead to 21 points before winning 108-85 in Cleveland.

James, who can become a free agent at the end of the postseason, could be playing his last game in Cleveland. "Whether you live up to it or not, you've got to be OK with your effort and your intensity and whatnot and the result of the game", Curry said. I just appreciate what he's done for us this season. "For us to be back here, with all the injuries we went through, a different journey through the playoffs".

In James' postgame press conference he commented on the hand injury.

Windhorst reported on ESPN that after the Cavs' brutal Game 1 meltdown, James punched a blackboard out of frustration. Curry and McGee (yeah, he was a legitimate factor again) boosting Golden State to a 67-52 lead and sending Cleveland scurrying to a timeout.

Warriors: Curry made a 3-pointer in his record 90th consecutive post-season game and extended his mark for 3s in road playoff games to 44. "Oh, absolutely. I mean, listen, not only from a brotherhood aspect and what we know about one another, and also from an experience factor", he said.

"Klay just Googled himself and it says three-time champion already", Green said as he sat next to Klay Thompson after Game 4, the Wikipedia world having already updated pages with the Warriors' latest championship accomplishment.

In the midst of NBA Finals, one of the biggest hip-hop battles in years took place between Drake and Pusha T. After both artists released diss records against each other, it was reported that rap mogul J. Prince convinced Drake to not respond to Pusha T's lethal, "The Story of Adidon".

"If you can get healthy and guys are playing at the right level at the same time, then you can feel like you can beat anybody", the Cavaliers' LeBron James said.
