This Is The Motorola One, Not The Motorola One Power

This time, the company is releasing Motorola-branded phones-the Motorola One and the Motorola One Power. While the Motorola One Power's dual cameras will be secured in the same enclosure, the Motorola One's pair of rear cameras will be separate.

Motorola doesn't give any indication as to what the announcement will be, but the two most likely candidates are the Moto Z3 and Motorola One Power. It will certainly be interesting to see the company try to make a splash, especially as it comes during a busy time on the calendar that also has Samsung unveiling the Galaxy Note 9 in NY on August 9, the week after Motorola's event. The circular camera housing looks similar to the dual camera setup seen on other Motorola smartphones. As AndroidHeadlines has been provided with information from a reliable source that the phone shown will arrive as the Motorola One.

It seems Motorola is planning to launch a whole new family of devices that run on the Android One OS. That may indicate a difference in specs or just a design choice. You'll get a notch at the top of the screen and there will be a chin with room enough for a full "Motorola" logo at the bottom.

The Moto E5 sports a 5.7-inch IPS display and the Moto E5 Plus gets a larger 6-inch IPS panel with the same HD+ (720x1440 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio.

Motorola launched the Moto E5 in Brazil back in April. You can pick up Moto's latest semi-flagship phone in either standard or Amazon variants. If this is all Motorola has to come roll with that's... actually pretty cool. Android One is a great system for distribution of a very basic Android, and this simple execution from Motorola will be a great vehicle for Android One. It's exciting to think that the Motorola group wants to give the brand a new lease on life as "Motorola" and not just release Moto phones.
