Prince George and Princess Charlotte Play at Polo Event

Prince George and Princess Charlotte Play at Polo Event

Middleton, who is still on maternity leave, looked every inch the doting mom as she chased her young children around the polo grounds, stopping to comfort Prince George who became fussy as the afternoon wore on.

On September 5, 1990, during the 50th anniversary of Battle of Britain celebrations, six-year-old Prince Harry stood on a bench with two-year-old Princess Beatrice, in the balcony of Buckingham Palace-exactly where Savannah and George had their cute moment.

Sure Kate Middleton is the Duchess of Cambridge, but she is also a mother-of-three who finds herself on casual outings with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and now Prince Louis. Professional acrobating might not be in her cards to be honest, but the little royal can definitely rock a pair of sunglasses.

George, 4, and Charlotte, 3, were seen hamming it up as their father, Prince William, played in the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy on Sunday.

Giving us deja vu today, Savannah and George have unconsciously replicated the incident, showing just how times have changed, but the antics of young British Royals haven't.

Prince George plays with his polo mallet. Just a day before, the family attendied the Trooping the Colour ceremony - so were likely happy to enjoy a more relaxed day out on the Sunday.

Kate then congratulated the rest of the team at the Beaufort Polo Club with hugs - and more kisses - as she weaved her way to her husband, Prince William.

Savannah, 7, first pretended she was conducting music as the national anthem played and then put her hand over the mouth of George, who appeared to be singing along, as if to quiet him.

"For the royal family, that big appearance on the Buckingham balcony during the Trooping the Colour is a huge deal", said ABC News royal contributor Imogen Lloyd Webber.
