Lukaku and Hazard score two each as Belgium rout Tunisia 5-2

Eden Hazard celebrates after scoring Belgium's fourth goal against Tunisia.

Despite cruising to a routine 3-0 victory over Panama in their Group G opener, there were still one or two niggling doubts regarding Roberto Martinez's style of play despite the obvious talent at his disposal.

Lukaku also scored two goals in Belgium's opening 3-0 win over Panama.

"England are very strong in dead-ball situations", he said. You have to give a lot of credit to Tunisia for wanting to press high up and make it a really open game.

"Our team is capable of unlocking the Belgium defence. perhaps the sense of fear will be absent tomorrow and we will be able to deliver", he said.

It was the second-earliest goal scored by a Belgium player at a World Cup after Leopold Anoul scored in the fifth minute in 1954.

Hazard won the penalty when he was brought down by Tunisia's Syam Ben Youssef on the edge of the area.

Tunisia answered two minutes later from Dylan Bronn's header, as the defender made glancing contact on Wahbi Khazri's corner to beat Thibaut Courtois into the bottom right corner.

"Lukaku pulled level with Cristiano Ronaldo on four goals in the race to land the Golden Boot, having become the first man since Diego Maradona in 1986 to score twice in consecutive World Cup games".

An inch-perfect Kevin de Bruyne pass sent Hazard clear for his second six minutes after the restart, the midfielder showing superb balance and skill to round keeper Farouk Ben Mustapha.

In a high tempo game, Lukaku bagged a second consecutive brace, taking him to seven goals in his last four worldwide games, while captain Hazard notched his first goals of the tournament in a dominant performance for the Red Devils. Coach Nabil Maaloul has worked on correcting the mistakes against England and the target is to win against the Belgians.
