Battlefield V Confirmed To Get Battle Royale Mode

Battlefield V will have its own take on the Battle Royale craze, simply called "Royale".

Speaking during its press conference at today's EA Play event, the publishing giant described it as 'royale reimagined for Battlefield'.

Battlefield V is set to launch later this year.

Taking to the stage, the DICE team sought to answer some questions players had, including how the customisation works and how it is different to other BF games.

Battlefield V is getting a Battle Royale mode

In the meantime, the recently released multiplayer trailer is available below for your viewing pleasure. It also allows players to further customise their characters with customisable skills for weapons, outfits, and vehicles. Details were thin at the time of the announcement, but we'll update you here with more as soon as we've heard more about the mode that's now only called Royale. Since this year there is no season pass or loot boxes, it is unclear how players will earn these skins. The game is about seeing the war through the eyes of the men and women who fought in it, giving it a very personal feel.

It seems Battlefield V will be getting numerous release dates, depending on the version of the game you buy.
