Alleged Pixel 3 XL Prototype Photos Show Notch, Dual Front Cameras, Chin

It's unclear what other storage options Google might offer.

For months, experts and fans have been speculating about what the Pixel 3 could look like, based on rumors and clues inside Android P. We may not have to wonder any longer, though.

Google is due to launch its Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL handsets later this year and we're now started to see leaks concerning these handsets frequently. Last year's Google Pixel 2 received plenty of acclaim, even if they ...

Recently it was revealed that Google's new Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL come packing a hidden and not yet activated Pixel Visual Core chip.

On the back, the Pixel 3 XL will be one of the few single-camera devices for 2018 in the flagship category.

However, Google has kept a single-lens camera system in its Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL phones, and opted to use its software rather than an extra lens to create the professional portrait mode effect, where the background appears blurry in contrast to a focused subject.

This may be the Google Pixel XL 3. That's quite a substantial chin on the screen which, yuck, but it does look like we're keeping the stereo front-facing speakers (the edge of the bottom speaker is just barely visible).

Without doubt, the thing most will point to here is that notch, something that has been a polarizing point ever since the iPhone X launched late past year and has continued to divide people even as just about every Android phone maker has followed suit.

In addition to digging around for Active Edge, evidence exists that the Pixel 3 might have wireless charging. There's also the smaller Pixel 3 to wonder about, which has been rumored not to receive a notch.

That's it for now, but we're hopefully going to see more of this soon. At the rear, there's a two-tone glass body which likely points to the handset coming with wireless charging support. Because that's sure what it looks like just happened.

Keep in mind that this design is allegedly just for the Pixel 3 XL. Google is also said to be working on a third mid-segment Pixel smartphone, which is codenamed "Bonito".
