Premier League predictions: Liverpool to seal fourth place ahead of Chelsea

However, the awards season and pending Champions League final has become something of a distraction.

Liverpool's players will know it is their final chance to impress ahead of the Champions League final in a fortnight and the hosts can be expected to finish with a flourish.

Do you think Salah can take his team to victory in the Champions League final?

That result leaves them two points adrift with a -15 goal difference compared to the Merseysiders so they have to beat Newcastle and pray Brighton do them a favour by beating Liverpool at Anfield to snatch fourth.

"I'm pretty sure this season they were a big contender and they will be next season", Guardiola told reporters. Having had a full week to get ready for Brighton, it will be a huge boost to Liverpool if all three members of their forward line are back to their devastating best.

"We are 25 points in front".

Real Madrid have eliminated Bayern Munich and Juventus to setup a meeting with Jurgen Klopp's side.

"Jurgen is a top manager, creating not just an offensive style and not just thinking about the spectators".

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has said that he always wanted to prove former club Chelsea wrong after his underwhelming stint in West London.

"I'm not the same player now (as at Chelsea), not at all". The Reds have won the last four meetings against Brighton including a 5-1 drubbing in December so the hosts look a good thing but there are alternative ways of attempting to extract some value by backing Liverpool.

The Reds go into the final weekend knowing they can still finish anywhere from third to fifth.

Lallana was a key player for Liverpool last season but has been forced to settle for a bit-part role this term, especially given the emergence of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain following his move from Arsenal. They are more direct with the wingers. Mane has played significantly fewer minutes than the other two, so he should have a little more freshness in his legs.

"But I think the idea is quite similar in terms of they want to try and win a game [because of] themselves". For them it is a nice time but for us it is time to work.
