Panera expands delivery service to Fargo

The fast-casual dining chain is celebrating its expanded delivery service, which now services 897 cities across 43 states, by offering free cups of soup to anyone who places an order online and lives within an eight-minute drive of a Panera location. Delivery is typically available between 11AM and 8PM, so long as you meet the $5 minimum order; there's also a $3 delivery fee in most areas. Just add a cup to your cart and enter the code "paneradelivers".

In Northwest Indiana, Panera Bread restaurants in Munster, Schererville, Merrrillville, Portage and Valparaiso will deliver to people's homes and offices between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. seven days a week.

Like Domino's, Panera's delivery service is an entirely digital process since customers can order through the Panera website or app, and watch as their driver makes his or her way to the final destination. "We now offer delivery across the country", said Blaine Hurst, Panera CEO, in a release.

"It's not in just a few test markets".

Panera began delivery in 2016. "Delivery is fueling our next phase of growth, and the success we have seen so far is exciting". Panera doesn't deploy third-party platforms for delivery.

A random check of Greensboro addresses via Panera's delivery site turned up more "No" than "Yes" for delivery.
