HP Unveils Alexa-Enabled All-In-One PC With Curved Screen

"HP's undisputed design and engineering leadership is delivering the ultimate combination of style, performance and versatility", said Ron Coughlin, president of personal systems. HP has launched an updated Envy Curved AiO PC which features a large base and a speaker on the front with a glowing blue light which will turn on when Alexa is summoned. The devices are created to straddle work and play environments, which means they are functional but stylish.

Today HP announced two new lines of premium devices. HP also claimed that the EliteBook x360 1030 G3 sports a first-of-its-kind outdoor viewable display, but it didn't go into the specifics of the feature. It features up to 18 hours of battery life, 4G LTE capabilities, and active pen support with proximity alert to notify when the pen is left behind.

The EliteBook x360 1030 G3 is the smallest in HP's range of convertibles. Plus, there are optional Intel Quad Core vPro processors and a metal finish build that has passed MIL-STD 810G testing.

HP EliteBook 1050 G1 is the world's first ultra-slim business notebook with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics, boasting powerful performance with optional hexacore processing12 and up to 4 TB of SSD storage, ideal for the person who needs reliable performance in a sleek package.

HP says the EliteOne 1000 AIOs are made for collaboration, and the fancy camera and microphone setups bear out this claim.

HP's EliteOne 1000 All in One G2 packs a 34-inch curved display and discrete graphics. The USB Type-C portable display helps easily connect other devices.

The new Envy products are more interesting from a gaming standpoint.

The Envy 13 and 17 notebooks have a new, sleeker design, with thinner bezels than their predecessors. The slick business notebook featuring NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics, a first for the professional market, according to HP, gives users the option between 1080p and 4K resolutions for its 15.6-inch screen. You can shell out $1,920 for a 4K variant with a Core i7, 16GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD to complement the spinning drive.

The Envy x360 (as well as the non-convertible Envy laptops) feature off a new laser-etched Damascus Steel print design on their rear edges.

HP ENVY x360 15 is an ideal device for users seeking more creative experiences through touch and pen.

HP won't divulge pricing and configurations for the 34-inch Envy until "later this year", unfortunately. But given that the Amazon Alexa app relies on Intel's Smart Sound technology, we're not exactly sure the 27-inch model actually supports the app. The EliteBook 1050 G1, for example, is being billed as "the world's first ultra-slim business notebook with Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics". It will be available for purchase in the U.S. starting June with an initial price tag of $1,279 (approximately Rs. 86,400).

This device will be coming up with 13-inch display and 12-inch chassis.

It is expected to be available in May at for a starting price of $749.99 (AMD version) and $869.99 (Intel version). Meanwhile, the 27-inch model will hit the streets this month with a starting price of $1,399.
