HP Expands on latest HP Elite 1000 and HP ENVY Products

HP Expands on latest HP Elite 1000 and HP ENVY Products

Both are expected to go on sale through HP's official site later this month.

The new HP notebooks are a mix of laptop, convertible (2-in-1), and detachable models belonging to the Envy series and freshly minted EliteBook 1000 family of products. This series of devices supports features like Gigabit Wi-Fi streaming for lightning speed connectivity.

As with the three previous iterations of the Envy series, the Envy 13 includes a lifting hinge that raises and pitches the keyboard base at a slight angle for a more comfortable typing position. HP Sure View technology along with fingerprint readers or IR cameras are also available on select models to keep information safe and secure.

When HP unveiled an even thinner Envy 13, our eyes rolled immediately, as we expected to get the same 'all USB-C spiel.' But to our amazement, this 13-inch notebook features two full-sized USB ports and even optional discrete Nvidia MX150 graphics, despite measuring just over half an inch thick. This laptop is powered by 8Th Generation Quad Core processor and optional NVIDIA GeForce MX150 furthers battery life up to 14 hours.

The two new HP Envy x380 convertible laptops come in 13-inch and 15-inch screen sizes. There is the promise of up to 16 hours of battery life, and options for up to 4TB of SSD storage, an HP Privacy camera. The latter is available with an optional 4K display. Likewise, there is the Envy x360 15 that offers creative experiences through touch and pen and includes up to a 4K display as well as more than 12 hours of battery life on a single charge.

HP ENVY 17 Laptop is one of the few desktop replacements with the everyday content creator in mind.

HP ENVY Curved AiO 34 is the world's widest curved all-in-one and now the world's first all-in-one with Amazon Alexa, providing the convenience of hands free with a visual display. The device comes with Amazon Alexa on board and incorporates a dark ash woodgrain finish on the base and pale gold accents along the back of the device. The device is also created to get things done, with optional NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 discrete graphics. Other announcements today include HP Audio Stream, which allows users to stream their favorite songs from their phone to the HP Envy AiO speakers via Bluetooth. That base rocks wireless charging too, and wears stylish wood grain clothing.

Finally, there'll be the HP ENVY Desktop. Designed with modern, minimalist details including rounded, diamond-cut corners and linear brushing detail, this device features 8th Generation Intel Core multi-core processors, optional NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 graphics, and optional Intel Optane Memory for better system responsiveness without sacrificing storage capacity.

As for everything else, the EliteBook 1050 G1 is coming in May starting at $1,899, the Elite x2 1013 G3 is coming in June starting at $1,499, and the EliteBook x360 1030 G3 is coming in June starting at $1,449.

HP EliteBook 1050 G1 is expected to be available in May for a starting price of $1,899.

In regular business scenarios, the HP EliteOne 1000 will comfortably handle most workloads, but it should be capable of so much more. Like the 1013, it includes a rechargeable pen, quad-core 15W U-series processors, a Sure View option, a Category 9 LTE option, and a 13-inch screen, but the form factor is different. I just wish it were on the whole lid, and not just the rear end.The Envy x360 15 in laptop mode. The processor equipped with Intel will cost $869.99 and the AMD version $749.99.
