Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 revealed ahead of October release

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 revealed ahead of October release

Unfortunately, there was no actual gameplay shown for this mode. Each one has their own set of attachments, which help make them unique for each player.

I'm pumped to see more. Crash can also place assault packs around to give his team more ammunitions! While some PC gamers were keeping hopes up for a Steam release, Activision announced today that the rumours are true. All we know is the team from "Mob of the Dead" is making its return.

Battlefield V is rumored to be in the prototype stages of a battle royale mode, yet they are comitted to delivering a high-quality single-player experience as well, in addition to traditional multiplayer. Four new characters (Bruno, Diego, Shaw, and Charlotte) will travel to different time periods, slaughtering zombies and trying to take down some sort of cult in a Roman arena and aboard the Titanic. IX, Voyage of Despair, and a continuation of Blood of the Dead are all available the first day of release. Have Treyarch build your mega foundation to fall back on in between Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer creating the more traditional single-player games. It is not a surprise to be honest if you consider how the late battle royale games have been successful. And the standout with announcements was Blackout, which serves as Treyarch's take on the popular Battle Royale mode for the game. The new Blackout mode will include the requisite massive map, and characters, weapons, and references from the entire Black Ops series.

The game will include all the social features of the Battle.net platform, which includes staying connected to friends playing other games on Battle.net or staying connected to the Battle.net mobile app. "They have inspired and fueled us to set a new standard on PC across every aspect from dedicated servers and security to full optimization and polish that's worthy of both Black Ops and Battle.net".

Finally, it seems PC CoD fans are going to have a lot to look forward to.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will be on PlayStation 4 October 12, 2018. Who knows? We might get a few World At War faces as well. Some of the tweets you are about to see are filled with graphic language.

"We're testing on the widest assortment of hardware possible to make sure a large number of people can play and enjoy Black Ops 4", said Jonathan Moses, senior producer at Treyarch. This means that this will be the first Call of Duty to leave out campaign. First time in years too.

It's time to soldier up because Black Ops is back!

While Activision did not share the exact reasons behind the decision, money is likely the the main force in the decision.

The reveal confirmed a series of leaks that had suggested the game would have a Battle Royale mode, and that it would ditch single player.
