Motorola Moto G6 leaked in new renders showing the device in full

We've seen this design in a handful of renders before, and today KillerFeatures has leaked a new set of images of Moto's upcoming G6 and G6 Play. Moto G6 was previously leaked on Chinese certification site TENAA. There is no word on the operating system, but we are likely to see Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. As per the report, the Moto G6 Play could carry a price tag of $199, which is roughly Rs 13,000 in INR, while the Moto G6 could be priced at $249, that's around Rs 16,000. The Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play prices were also tipped.

In a related news, a report by Android Headlines revealed the complete specifications of the Moto G6. It will feature 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card slot. At the rear, the Moto G6 appears to flaunt a circular camera module with two camera sensors and LED flash as well. It has nearly the same design as the G6 Play but with some significant changes like a 3D glass back (instead of glossy plastic back like G6 Play) and a metal frame. This dual-camera setup will help in clicking DSLR-like shots with bokeh effect.

The next variant in the G6 series, Moto G6 is expected to feature a 5.7-inch Full HD Plus display. Meanwhile, the Moto G6 Plus will come with a 5.93-inch full-HD display. That display is a FHD+ panel covered in Gorilla Glass 3 with support for an "Attentive Display" feature that ensures the screen stays on when the user is looking at it. Under the hood, the device will have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Octa-core chipset with 3/4GB RAM and 32/63GB onboard flash storage.

The Moto G6 has a 3000mAh battery with support for TurboPower fast charging. It has 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card. Those dual-cameras, however, will be able to use a "Selective Focus" mode for blurring out the background, and new features such as "animated face filters" and the ability to natively scan documents will also be available. Additionally, the dual camera setup is placed horizontally on the back.

The Moto G6 still has its fingerprint scanner in front and it does more than just unlock your phone. Some other features include Moto Voice, Moto Experiences, water-repellent coating, Bluetooth 4.2, etc. The smartphone will come with a 1.4 Ghz processor, expected to be an older Snapdragon 430 SoC. Under the hood, the phone will have a 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. It also packs a 4000mAh battery and offers dual SIM support.
