Apple iPhone8 and 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition now available in India

Apple iPhone8 and 8 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition now available in India

The two phones have glass rear panel and support wireless charging and water resistant. Apple iPhone 8 Red price in India is Rs. 67,940 for 64GB and Rs. 81,500 for 256GB model. The iPhone 8 Plus Product Red edition, on the other hand, will cost Rs 77,560 for the base 65GB variant and the 256GB model will cost Rs 91,110. But if you want a black front then have to switch to the iPhone 8 and 8 plus (Product) Red.

The current-generation of iPhones, iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus have launched a finish of an all-new color "Red". Both the smartphones are now available for pre-order in India on Flipkart. All the money that Apple receives from the sale of Red Edition phones goes towards Red, the global fund for HIV/AIDS grants.

These special editions of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus come with the same design, build and specifications as the standard editions.

Has flagging iPhone sales prompted Apple to update its two-year-old budget phone iPhone SE?

As part of the Make in India initiative to reduce costs on imports, Apple has been manufacturing the iPhone SE in India since previous year.

There's no question this new combination is decidedly better and it actually helps that vibrant red colour stand out even more.

Our source says Apple is disappointed with sales of the iPhone X, and doubts have grown within the company that releasing a $1000+ smartphone in the current global smartphone market was a winning idea.

According to a tweet by the mobile leaker and renderer, Ben Geskin, who has a generally good track record of predicting Apple-related news, the iPhone SE 2 is "coming soon".

Geskin's tweet lines up with the rumours we've heard previously about the iPhone SE 2's imminent announcement at WWDC 2018. This may mean the device could be made out of glass and metal, something that in turn indicates the arrival of wireless charging. And obviously, the headphone jack is still missing.

The world's most-valuable public company, at $833.3 billion, faces more than just iPhone headaches.

Though, this is not sure if the smartphone will support FaceID or not? The smaller iPhone comes with a 1821mAh battery, while the larger handset packs a 2691mAh battery.
