ABC Makes Unusual Decision To Release All Of Comey Talk

The interview with Comey and the publicity tour for his book, which is scheduled to hit bookstores on Tuesday, amount to a remarkable public assault on a sitting President by someone who served at the highest levels in the government.

Whether President Donald Trump should hold the highest office in the land is, according to James Comey, a question of values. The Post reported that administration officials said Haley made an error and said it was unlikely that Trump would approve any additional sanctions without another triggering event by Russian Federation.

Comey's reply was blunt and damning.

Trump fired Comey previous year over his frustration around the handing of the Russian Federation investigation, which led to the appointment of the special counsel, Robert MuellerRobert Swan MuellerSasse: US should applaud choice of Mueller to lead Russian Federation probe MORE. "But not in the way..." I don't buy this stuff about him being mentally incompetent or early stages of dementia.

"I was a bit disappointed and unsettled by that interview that I saw last night", Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Charlie Dent shared. He also says there is "some evidence of obstruction of justice" in the president's actions and that Trump is "morally unfit" for office.

Comey did not stop there. "And that's not a policy statement. I think he's morally unfit to be president", Comey said.

Some observers felt Comey was out of bounds with certain comments about the size of the president's hands and his skin tone. Throughout his time as Director we spoke regularly about some of the most sensitive issues in law enforcement and national security. "This president is not able to do that".

Partisans are deeply divided on this question, with 70 percent of Democrats saying Trump has not criticized Russian Federation enough, while 71 percent of Republicans say he has been about right. "If you are right, what is the remedy?" asked Stephanopoulos.

Interested in Donald Trump?

Comey stumbled, attempting initially to describe the process. Freeh refused to do it, he basically told him I'm going to fire you. Just think back to President Clinton.

This morning's GMA interview robbed CNN of the ability to promote Jake Tapper's Thursday date with Comey as his first live interview. We'll fight about taxes. I can not say that. That is the core of this country.

"Impeachment, in a way, would short-circuit that", he added. "But, most importantly, the President of the United States is calling for the imprisonment of a private citizen, as he's done for a whole lot of people who criticize him. The interesting thing is that liberals said Comey should be charged under the Hatch Act for interfering in the election by reopening the investigation into Clinton's use of a private server", Kovalik explained. There were no tweets from the president immediately following the hour-long broadcast, during which Comey called Mr. Trump a serial liar and even remarked on his personal appearance.

That's not how the American experiment is supposed to work. But now Trump will try to unfairly tar him as a "friend" of Comey's who must be pursuing a political vendetta against him.

By heating up his dispute with the president prematurely, he is potentially undercutting the work of another former Federal Bureau of Investigation director who is now investigating the president.

"And there once was a day when people were afraid of goin' to hell if they took an oath in the name of God and violated it".
