Tim McGraw collapses at show in Ireland

Country singer Tim McGraw had to cut short his set when he collapsed on stage due to dehydration at a show in Dublin, Ireland, over the weekend.

The three-day tour started in London on Friday, then performed in Glasgow on Saturday.

It was McGraw's wife and singing partner, country star Faith Hill, who came on stage later and explained to the crowd what was happening. Faith Hill, his wife, said he was dehydrated. "I apologise, but I made the decision that he can not come back out on stage".

A representative for McGraw issued a statement saying McGraw was attended to by local medical staff on site and will be fine. News, eyewitnesses revealed that numerous crew members rushed McGraw off the stage once he'd collapsed: "The crowd was really anxious, like, 'What just happened?'" whereas Hill "didn't seem that anxious or distracted".

"But look, it's been really good to me".

Recently, McGraw made headlines as being one of the few mainstream country artists to speak up in support of gun control. The crowd then started shouting, "Get well, Tim". "So always drink water, keep yourself hydrated!"

Tim McGraw performs on NBC's "Today" show at Rockefeller Plaza in New York, Nov. 17, 2017.

In a recent CBS Sunday Morning interview, McGraw said music is his "savior". It happens, where you lay down and you think, 'Why am I doing this?
