The Entire Galaxy Showed Up for Mark Hamill's Walk of Fame Star

The Entire Galaxy Showed Up for Mark Hamill's Walk of Fame Star

The famous actor of Star Wars series (playing the role of Luke Skywalker), received Hollywood Walk of Fame star at front of Los Angeles' El Capitan Theatre.

From his start as Luke Skywalker to the villains of the Flash as the Trickster or Batman's nemesis the Joker, but he's never been memorialized with a star until now.

Hamill was surrounded by fellow Star Wars legends including Director George Lucas, co-star Harrison Ford, his trusty sidekick R2-D2 and a handful of Stormtroopers to provide security.

Harrison Ford and George Lucas were leading the tributes to Mark, as Harrison joked that "A lot more people turned up to my star", while Lucas shared how proud he was of Hamill.

"My seven-year-old daughter's crying in bed right now because she wants to wear her "Star Wars" t-shirt to school but is scared her classmates will laugh because she likes "boy stuff". It's all relative and it's so nice and I really appreciate it but you've got to make sure it doesn't change who you are and it doesn't change who I am. "It's hard to convey my gratitude, my joy and the exhilaration", he.

When Hamill said the same thing for Lucas, the Star Wars creator said that he's "out of the game", to general laughter.

Ford also gave a touching speech, using the occasion to remember the indelible Carrie Fischer, who passed in December of 2016. "I haven't been this speechless since Force Awakens!". If it weren't for the public, I'd be nowhere.

"I, at one point, had to say to Rian, 'I pretty much fundamentally disagree with every choice you've made for this character".

"Mark is a friend that I don't see very often, our lives have diverged to a certain extent, but I am very pleased for him", Ford confessed.
