Police raid Heather Locklear's home on gun search

The "Melrose Place" alum was arrested at her Westlake Village home on February 25 for felony domestic battery and three counts of battery on a peace officer.

When police arrived on the night of the alleged incident, Locklear, 56, supposedly went into defensive mode and started flailing and kicking at the three deputies attempting to subdue her. Heisser also had a "visible mark" on his body when police arrived on the scene, according to celebrity gossip site TMZ.

We're told what triggered the search warrant. law enforcement sources say when Heather was arrested last week for felony domestic violence against her boyfriend, she told cops, "If you ever come back to my house I will shoot you".

At noon on Tuesday, police executed a search warrant for the firearm at her residence in the 4900 block of Summit View Drive in Thousand Oaks. However, police did not find the gun registered in Locklear's name at her residence. "Now I am working on tying up some loose ends regarding certain issues so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead", Locklear told the New York Post through her representative at the time. The investigation reportedly occurred while Locklear was in a medical treatment facility, and no gun was found.

"[She's] blaming her brother for making the call to the police", the source claims. A court date is set for March 13.

So where was Locklear during the cops' search of her place? In her many Instagram posts since then, she has cheerful photos of her with her dog, and of with Ava, her 20-year-old daughter with ex-husband Richie Sambora.

We'll keep you updated on Locklear's status, but we're happy to hear she's hopefully getting the help she needs.
