Mark Hamill Originally Wanted Luke To Die In Star Wars: Episode 9

The novelization of The Last Jedi, on the other hand, does, and now, the demand for more intimacy between the two characters in Star Wars: Episode IX has intensified.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz at the United Kingdom premiere of "Peter Rabbit" at Vue Cinema in London's Leicester Square on Sunday (03.11.18), Ridley said: "I'm having a break, I've been filming forever". And it just so happened that the portrayal of Luke Skywalker in The Last Jedi that polarized fans was the hot topic of the conversation. Mark playfully told the site: 'This is just a cameo at the end.
