Manchester United derby hero Rashford unworried by time on the bench

He needs another on Tuesday when Manchester United welcome Sevilla to Old Trafford in their second leg round of 16 clash.

When he spoke to the media on Monday, Mourinho openly admitted that his side isn't as strong as some of the other teams remaining in the Champions League.

"We have to beat Sevilla to go through, so we give our best". To buttress that confidence the club wrote on Twitter, "See you soon, Old Trafford..."

The boss has also revealed that Paul Pogba suffered his injury in the final minute of the last training session ahead of the Liverpool game and he is unsure whether the Frenchman or Eric Bailly, who was in the wars at the weekend, will be available in midweek.

Marouane Fellaini and Zlatan Ibrahimovi? were also spotted training with the first team and are fully fit to represent tonight.

Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku of Manchester United training on 12 March 2018.

Juan Mata is the man likely to make way as youngster Scott McTominay has played his way in to Mourinho's starting eleven with some mature display's recently while Nemanja Matic should once again start in the holding role.

"If you can have them all the time then that's what everybody wants".

Mourinho added: "I remember his beginning when he was not always on the bench but I was taking him with the team as an extra player". We have a match in two days and I can imagine that if we lose against Seville on Tuesday everyone will have forgotten what we did in the last couple of weeks. "I think tomorrow is a very hard match". "But the reality in this moment is that we have no advantage at all".

The victory however ensured that Manchester United will stay five points clear above Liverpool and settle for the second spot in the EPL table after 30 fixtures.

'I don't know what Real Madrid's intentions are, but if I were them, I would think of another player'.

"Where he was saying it is not good for Marcus Rashford to have a coach like me because the most important thing for me is to win". Does he play every match from the start?

"But he's a player that we trust and I told that before the Liverpool match where probably not many of you [the media] were expecting him to start".

I'm actually going a step further and backing Arsenal to win by three or more goals against this bog-standard Milan side.

When asked whether he would be joining Mourinho's backroom team, he said: "Yes".
