Jurgen Klopp sends message to Liverpool FC players after Man United loss

Mark Froggatt, who has worked as part of United's media team since 2010, responded with a tweet to Mourinho's claim about Rashford.

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford insists that he doesn't expect Jose Mourinho to explain his prolonged absence from the squad. We had a lot of OK moments, two good moments in the first half where we could have finished a little better, more clinical.

They're down to fourth in the table, five points behind United in second, and looked largely ineffective on Saturday against their rivals. "But you can't cross the line and come on the pitch", West Ham manager David Moyes said.

"What would have happened if Mohamed Salah had fallen over like most Premier League players would have done?"

"But fantastic performance and the spirit when other players probably could do it the easiest way and say: 'we are winning 2-0, I've done my job, goodbye'".

But away from the field, Rashford, who admits he is "more comfortable in the middle", does not feel the need to express any frustration to Mourinho.

"In the situations around the two goals, it was not like it should be - you can not leave a player alone", assessed Klopp.

"Second half we had to continue chasing the game and then we scored a goal and should have been a penalty around Fellaini's situation with Sadio".

Liverpool found themselves two goals down at half-time after two goal-kicks that were won superbly by Romelu Lukaku were twice punished by Rashford. You can not leave a player alone like Lukaku, everyone knows that and we trained that of course.

"United may finish ahead of Liverpool this season, but I know which team I would pay to watch each week and they would not be managed by Mourinho".

West Bromwich Albion's woes continued as they slipped to a 4-1 home defeat by Leicester City.
