It's happening: Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch confirmed

Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story is getting a remake for 3DS alongside Bowser Jr.'s Story for 2019. The game will be released in 2019. It will certainly have new characters in the Inklings, and it even looks like the game will feature the Breath of the Wild version of Link. This will launch on April 4 in Japan.

A little further down the way is WarioWare Gold which is coming to 3DS with 300 microgames on August 3rd. Brawl and most recently Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

The game includes playable versions of Nintendo's most iconic characters, including Mario, Fox (from Starfox), Link (from Legend of Zelda), Samus ( from Metroid), Yoshi, Pikachu, and loads more.

Nintendo just teased Super Smash Bros for Nintendo Switch.

Okami HD is coming to Nintendo Switch this winter. On top of it all, South Park: The Fractured But Whole is headed to the Switch as well, if you can wrap your head around that one.

Aside from the addition of the Splatoon characters, Nintendo is being typically tight-lipped about the new Smash Bros.

Dark Souls Remastered for the Nintendo Switch has a May 25 release date.

Coming on June 8 is "Sushi Striker: The Way of the Sushido". Through the hybrid console's first E3 and holiday season, the game remained off the table in terms of speculation. "Sushi Striker: The Way of the Sushido" is an action game where players will have to match colored plates and sushis in order to throw them onto opponents, according to Heavy.

The latest Nintendo Direct brings some great news for fighting game fans.

Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy which was previously exclusive to the PS4 will be out on the Switch on July 10. There's still we don't know about this game, although it appears as though the Inklings are characters we can safely say will be introduced to the series with the next iteration. The Switch is the most successful and popular console from Nintendo, which has kept a great track record in the quality of the games that have been introduced on it.
