Known in the local press as the "Fab Four", Markle, Prince Harry, Prince William and Catherine are to meet with schoolchildren after the service.

Although this marks her first official event with the queen, Markle has attended royal events since her engagement to Prince Harry, including the Royal Foundation Forum in February. Markle and Prince Harry's wedding is set to take place on May 19.

In one still, Parisa Fitz-Henley, who plays Meghan, and Murray Fraser, who takes on the role of Prince Harry, can be seen sharing a warm embrace eerily similar to the portrait the real couple released to celebrate their engagement past year.

Inside Westminster Abbey, Markle was seated in the second row near the queen and just behind her father-in-law-to-be, Prince Charles. Former One Direction member Liam Payne also attended the event.

Kate Middleton wore a navy Beulah coat with a Lock and Co. hat, while Markle donned a white Amanda Wakeley coat and matching hat. "If it's something she does and if the rest of the family lets her do it, it becomes the done thing and that's it".

Joined by her husband-to-be, Meghan spent two days in Hertfordshire with the SAS, the Army's elite regiment, completing a course to prepare her for all the possible emergencies she might face as a royal. The couple will walk down the aisle at St George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.
