Five hotly anticipated smartphones at MWC

After Asus, Samsung, Nokia, and Huawei, it is LG who has verified its attendance at the forthcoming MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2018 event, which will began in Barcelona, Spain on February 25, 2018. A source said that the Galaxy S9 and the Galaxy S9 Plus would be loaded with a single camera and a dual camera, respectively. The two smartphones are said to be debuting at MWC but reports say HMD Global might be planning to announce as many as six new smartphones.

Nokia is already gearing up to bring out new smartphones this year. While Blackberry saw dominance as the go-to phone for business professionals - even extending their reach into the general population due to the ease of texting on their physical keyboard - their design feels dated and they fell behind due to their insistence on remaining on their own proprietary OS for so long. At the rear of the Nokia 7+ is a dual-camera module placed vertically in the middle of the panel.

The Xperia XZ Pro could be powered by a Snapdragon 845 CPU and could come with a waterproof and dustproof high-end camera. The phone is likely to come up with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Both are expected to be extremely similar in design and feature set to the Infinity Display-covered Galaxy S8, with a few notable improvements. The image comes from a comment by "Grisha" in a post about Sony's MWC video tease.

Explaining further the unique features of the new product, LG said Vision AI automatically analyzes objects and recommends the best shooting mode from among eight modes: portrait, food, pet, landscape, city, flower, sunrise, and sunset. It is rumored to feature a 6-inch FHD+ resolution supporting screen.

Xiaomi might just introduce an impressive smartphone during Mobile World Congress, called the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S. Running Android Oreo, the device will be backed up by a 3400mAh battery.

New Nokia phone with model number TA-1048 received certification from the Federal communications Commission (FCC) in the United States.

'Samsung and Apple have been nudging the price of flagships upwards, and while this is unlikely to hit appetite too hard, they are creating space in the £400-£600 price range for high-spec underdog devices with what might be, for some, a much more compelling price tag, ' he added.

What are the rumoured new features and specifications in the Nokia 9? The S9+ is also expected to have 6GB of RAM compared to the S9's 4GB, giving it a premium feel for those who want additional multitasking opportunities.

According to preliminary information, the smartphone will be equipped with double main and front cameras.

On the heels of the Moto X4 should come the G6 and E5 and serial leaker Evan Blass says both will come in Plus and Play versions.
