Chelsea's 2-goal Willian: Great win for everyone

Cesc Fabregas sent Pedro away to make it 2-0 after 27 minutes and Willian then used his right foot to devastating effect to skim a low shot past keeper David Marshall.

It was the Brazilian who inspired Chelsea's to victory on Friday night.

At the end of a successful week there is far less tension around his team and the Italian added: "The last two wins were very important for us and our confidence".

Conte made a decision to rest Alonso in Chelsea's 4-1 defeat against Watford before he went on miss the West Brom and Hull City game in the Premier League and FA Cup respectively.

Rudiger had little to worry about but was coolness personified as he played a part in the team keeping a clean sheet.

The wonderful Willian nearly completed his hat-trick late on when hitting the post from 30 yards, but Chelsea eased to victory regardless, leaving Championship strugglers Hull to focus on preventing back-to-back relegations.
