Trump lawyer arranged $130000 payment for porn star's silence

Sources close to US President Donald Trump have alleged that in October 2016 the president arranged a $130,000 payment to a retired porn star that allegedly had a sexual encounter with him in 2006.

Michael Cohen, who recently announced he was suing BuzzFeed for publication of the Fusion GPS dossier, allegedly paid adult performer Stephanie Clifford in October 2016, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The Wall Street Journal also reports that Clifford, who briefly considered a political career of her own, has privately discussed the alleged 2006 encounter with Trump. "Mr. Trump married Melania Trump in 2005".

A White House official told Wall Street Journal that the allegations of a sexual encounter between Trump and the Daniels were "old, recycled reports, which were published and strongly denied prior to the election".

According to Evans, who was also in Stateline, Nevada while Trump and Daniels were there for the 2006 American Century Celebrity Golf Championship, her colleague told her all about meeting the star of The Apprentice.

Numerous women have accused Mr Trump of unwanted sexual advances, allegations Mr Trump has consistently rejected as false. The sum was sent to to Davidson's client-trust account at a bank in Los Angeles, Cali.

The Wall Street Journal had previously reported that Clifford was in talks with Good Morning America to talk about Trump just before the November 8, 2016 election.

The examples are numerous, but Trump has flatly denied them all. He said both the president and Clifford have "vehemently" denied a sexual relationship.

"I love Trump. I think he's great", Weimer said. Afterward, Trump met with Clifford and two other women in a hotel suite, where he kissed them, the Journal reported.

"These rumors have circulated time and again since 2011", Cohen said in a statement to CNN. Back in November 2016, WSJ reported that Clifford was in talks to go public with her story on Good Morning America, but eventually backed out.

Porn star Jessica Drake also claims that she had an encounter with Trump at the same golf event - but she says hers was not consensual.

"I did not sign [a nondisclosure agreement], nor have I received any money for coming forward", Ms. Drake said in a January statement.

The same month, the infamous Access Hollywood tape emerged, in which Trump bragged about groping women.
