Trump kicks CNN reporter out of press conference for questions on migrants

President Trump told CNN's White House reporter, Jim Acosta, to get out of a meeting on Tuesday after Acosta repeatedly tried to ask the president questions about his alleged remarks that Africa nations are "s**thole countries".

The New York Post posted a video of the incident, which shows Acosta asking questions related to remarks the president made in a meeting last week about a compromise on the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

"Mr. President, did you say you want more people to come in from Norway?" "Thank you very much everybody". He added that he has "never encountered that before" and said that it reminded him of something from "a different country", saying "certainly not at the White House".

As the president appeared to signal the end of the question and answer segment, Acosta became more explicit, asking whether President Trump believes America should limit immigration exclusively to "Caucasian or white countries".

Trump allowed the media to join him today as he welcomed Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the White House.

Trump's feud with CNN and many other prominent American news outlets has escalated from the time he first announced his candidacy to winning the nomination ticket for the Republican Party and eventually the presidency. Trump has famously dubbed CNN "fake news" and pointed directly at Acosta and called him by the disparaging moniker in the past.

"When journalists make honest mistakes, they should own up to them. Sometimes, and a lot of times, you don't", Sanders said as Acosta tried to interrupt.

"I have been very patient with this line of questioning" she said.

Acosta has also been burned by other members of Trump's team during press briefings.

Acosta's colleague, fellow CNN star Chris Cuomo, apologized on Tuesday after he referred to principal deputy White House press secretary Raj Shah as "Raj whatever-his-name-is". Trump responded with one word: "Out". The views expressed therein are not necessarily those of, its sponsors or advertisers.
