Tom Hanks buys a round of martinis for Steven Spielberg

"We really thirst for that", Streep said.

Earlier in the interview, Streep presented Ellen and Hanks with "Time's Up" sweaters to match her own.

"While she was speaking out on the patio of the Hilton hotel by the pool, the water was separating, in the pool", Hanks added.

"He brought four of them, and he brought them under my nose", Streep said, motioning with her hands how Hanks was taunting her. He then ordered a tray full of martinis and skillfully maneuvered through the crowd carrying them, before handing the drinks to Steven Spielberg, his table-mate, and the director's wife Kate Capshaw, to other guests' utmost astonishment.

"Somebody from the stage [mentioned] Tom Hanks, and he seemed ready to go", she said.

This featurette is mostly focused on Tom Hanks' performance as Washington Post editor Ben Bradlee, with Spielberg discussing his fifth collaboration with the actor after Saving Private Ryan, Catch Me If You Can, The Terminal, and Bridge of Spies. "I was really glad to work with you because you're so amusing, and we're in a serious movie".

Following this up, Hanks was required to reprise a quote from Streep's character Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada. "I knew that that injection of wit and style and getting the joke - every real story, even the hardest ones, have something amusing - and you brought that". See how well they do in the hilarious video below.
