Steph Curry Slipped At Practice And Is OUT Tonight, Friday's Game Uncertain

Curry scored 38 points in a December 31 (AEDT) win over the Grizzlies, his first game since December 5 after suffering right ankle sprain. It's the same injury that recently sidelined him for 11 games.

OAKLAND, Calif. - Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry is out for tonight's home game against the LA Clippers with a sprained right ankle. While the team assures that this recent injury is nothing to worry about, they've opted to take the precautionary route by keeping Curry out of Wednesday's contest against the Clips. Kevin Durant (right calf strain), Draymond Green (right knee soreness) & Andre Iguodala (left knee & hip soreness) are available to play. He made more than 50 percent of his three-pointers and the team went 5-0. Over the remainder of the year, numberFire's models project him to record 26.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 7.1 assists, 1.9 steals, and 3.4 3-pointers per game.

Warriors staff will likely err on the side of extra caution, being that this is the second issue he's had with his right ankle this season, and that he returned less than two weeks ago. He's also shot 57.4 percent from the field, 53.2 percent from behind the arc and 89.7 from the free throw line.
