Steelers To Play Jaguars In AFC Divisional Game

The Jaguars defense, which ranks first in the NFL in yards per play allowed (4.6), first in Football Outsiders' efficiency ratings and second in sack percentage, has been out of this world.

McCoy is easily the most important player to the Buffalo offense, especially when you consider that no wide receiver even had 500 receiving yards. The kick came at the end of an 18-play, 71-yard drive that took 8:06. He rushed for 27 yards on seven attempts.

The Jaguars were finally able to move the ball on the final drive of the half. Despite having Blake Bortles under center, here's why the Jags could roll. Josh Lambo tied it with 2 seconds remaining on a 44-yard field goal.

Tyrod Taylor was 11 of 21 for 90 yards along with six carries for 25 yards.

But their visit to Pittsburgh in week five gave a first real glimpse of what this Jacksonville team could become.

Jacksonville quarterback Blake Bortles was more effective as a runner than passer.

Buffalo tight end Charles Clay also is questionable to return with a hamstring injury.

Taylor finished the day with 17 of 38 passes completed for just 134 yards and two interceptions.

As for the Jaguars, Sunday's playoff appearance is the first since 2007.

The Tennessee Titans might be the least convincing outfit of any team to make the postseason in 2017, and look to be out of their depth facing a resurgent Kansas City team that has rebounded after a poor middle stretch during the season.

Jacksonville have won the AFC South for the first time ever with defence and the running game.

Buffalo, which squeezed into the playoffs when Cincinnati upset Baltimore in the last week of the season, settled for Stephen Hauschka's 31-yard field goal after blowing a first-and-goal at the one-yard line following a Jaguar penalty. The Saints have been hard to beat at home this season and the Panthers have been too streaky this year to have any faith in them in New Orleans when the spread is only a touchdown.

The Panthers-Saints victor will play at Minnesota next week.
