Packers last game of season

Packers last game of season

The play was a microcosm of Clinton-Dix's underwhelming 2017 season.

The Lions have an 8-7 record going into Sunday afternoon's home game against the Green Bay Packers, which ends the team's season.

First-round pick Jarrad Davis thwarted a Packers' early scoring drive by recording the first interception of his career.

Green Bay finished 7-9 and with a lot of questions swirling about the future.

Caldwell usually speaks with reporters when players clean out their lockers for the offseason. "Wins and losses, that's the key", Caldwell said. We care about them outside of what they do for us in terms of football.

But the three drives collectively produced just three points, as two of them ended in red-zone turnovers. They did take a 3-0 lead on Mason Crosby's 41-yard field goal late in the first quarter, but Detroit tied it on the ensuing possession and took control in the second quarter. Add four more catches to the list as Stafford hit Tate for a 71-yard touchdown, Golladay on a 54-yard touchdown, Marvin Jones Jr. for a 51-yard bomb and Golladay for a terrific 26-yard grab along the sideline in the fourth quarter. Minnesota Vikings running back Latavius Murray (25) rushes during the first half of an NFL football game against the Detroit Lions, Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017, in Detroit. He threw for just 172 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. "We didn't make the plays that needed to be made". Coaching doesn't stop just because the there's nothing to play for beyond Week 17. He caught a 2-point conversion pass after Ameer Abdullah, who had just run for a TD, took a direct snap and pitched it to Tate, who easily connected with Stafford in the end zone to put Detroit up 35-11 midway through the fourth quarter. However, the Lions were eliminated from playoff contention last week with a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals and haven't won a playoff game with Caldwell as head coach. He had 80 yards on two catches and finished with 28 receptions for 477 yards (17.0 average) with three touchdowns in 11 games.

Outside linebacker Reggie Gilbert and cornerback Lenzy Pipkins both followed up decent showings a week ago with a few notable plays here and there. It's about our team, it's about our players and how they play together, it's about our fan base, our ownership and trying to get done the things that we want to get done: Winning a championship here.

Have a great new year, and stay safe.

It felt like a preseason outing for Mike McCarthy's team.

"For me, this is the first year that I've ever gotten to play as a starter in the NFL", Hundley said. "You know, I'll go to work, that's it".
