Missing Sports Reporter Courtney Roland Found 'Unharmed': Texas Police

"I am buying an iPad.'" According to Click2Houston, "Vara also said Roland's vehicle was broken into six weeks ago and she's been on high-alert since".

In an update given by Houston Police Monday afternoon, Roland was said to have been in a confused state when she was found Monday morning. She drives a 2010 white Jeep Cherokee.

The Houston Police Department confirmed to NBC News early Monday that Roland had been reported missing and referred further questions to its public affairs bureau which did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

"If somebody has her, we just want to tell them we love you too", Courtney Roland's father, Steve Roland, told KHOU.

Authorities say additional information will be released later Monday. She had texted her roommate that a suspicious man in a blue truck was following her, according to Houston-based KPRC.

The roommate said she was supposed to meet up with Roland but never heard from her again.

Cruz said she appeared to have spent much of her time searching for her phone, which was found in the Jeep along with other personal items. Her purse was found at a nearby business. They said that she appeared "unharmed" in an updated Tweet and said that she would be taken to a hospital for evaluation.

The 29-year-old was last seen Sunday evening walking alone in a store at a shopping mall, police say.

According to one post, she left the camp in an Uber and returned home, before later leaving again to go to Walgreens, a USA supermarket.

Houston police Chief Art Acevedo and Gov. Greg Abbott shared tweets getting the message out on Roland's vanishing. The family have since filed a missing persons report with Houston police.
