LG V30 Oreo Update Released

LG V30 Oreo Update Released

The official roll out of Android Oreo comes to LG V30 nearly a month after the company launched the beta programme back in the month of November. It didn't say if and when the beta program will be expanded to other markets. With the Android Oreo beta test release, Indian technology site Telecomtalk has confirmed that the device has now received fast charging support in the latest update. Alternatively, LG V30 users can upgrade by connecting to their PC using the LG Bridge programme. The update is rolling out over the air (OTA) and is initially available on South Korean units. The LG Bridge app can be downloaded from LG's mobile download centre. Some of the notable new features of Oreo include Notification Dots, faster boot times, Picture in Picture, AutoFill, and Google Play Protect security scans. The Mi A1 thus launched with a near stock version of Android Nougat with a promise to receive an Android Oreo update. Android Oreo is also expected to improve speed, battery, and software performance on the LG V30.

Powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, the smartphone offer 4GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage, which is further expandable up to 2TB via the microSD card slot. Xiaomi has introduced a 12MP+12MP setup on the back, which has a wide-angle and telephoto lens combination.

LG V30 now runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. On the front, the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel selfie camera. LG V30 is backed by a 3300mAh non-removable battery.
