LeBron James: 'Already went further than I thought I would go'

LeBron James: 'Already went further than I thought I would go'

The Cleveland Cavaliers are clearly in a rut. They need to deliver a convincing series win, something that has thus far eluded them, and to really reach that next level of expectation they might need to pull off an unlikely upset against a LeBron-led squad.

Cleveland ranks third in three pointers attempted per game (32.8) while in ranks 25th (24.9). The Cleveland Cavaliers have lost seven of their last eight road games.

Coming off its 28-point embarrassing loss to the Timberwolves, the 34-point loss to Toronto was even worse.

Among those was the Raptors' first meeting with the Warriors at Oracle Arena in the fourth game of the regular season as the Raptors led by five with 1:37 left only to watch Curry score a layup and then Durant and Curry bomb threes all in the space of 56 seconds to put the Raptors to sleep.

Thompson, who's 9.2 points and 8.5 rebound per game this season, would be hard to replace for Cleveland, which still has its sites set on yet another appearance in the National Basketball Association finals.

Williams finished with 30 points and six assists, one night after scoring a career-high 50 against defending champion Golden State.

Ibaka sat as he served a one-game suspension after throwing punches with Miami's James Johnson on Tuesday.

IN averages 12.1 second chance points per game, which ranks 15th in the league.

In addition to Thompson, Cleveland holds two first-round picks that could be used in a big deal before the February 8 trade deadline - their own choice and the coveted Brooklyn pick acquired in the Kyrie Irving trade - and would be interested in landing Clippers center DeAndre Jordan, according to Charania.

The Cavs went 24-9 from February 1 through the rest of the season and made the Finals.

Griffin followed with a 3-pointer and Williams later scored on a short jumper.

Things only got worse in the second half as the Raptors kept the foot on the gas en route to a 133-99 win, posting their highest point total of the season. I just like playing ball the right way, getting guys involved and winning the game also.

IN clawed back into the game with 5 3s in the third quarter.

"We were missing Myles and we're definitely a much better team when we have everybody in uniform", McMillan said.

Keep in mind that the Cavs hadn't led in a single minute of the past two games. But once again, it's January, the halfway-point of the season, and the Cavs seem to be falling apart.

Meanwhile, Indiana owns records of 21-20 SU and 22-19 ATS.

Cleveland was running all over the place.

The game never was in jeopardy after that point. On average they've won 64.6 games and the lowest number they've won in a full 82-game season is 58. But both times, their playoff run was ended in ruthless fashion by the Cavs.
