ESPN's Katie Nolan Calls Donald Trump A 'F*cking Stupid Person'

As a result, ESPN spoke with Nolan about her remarks.

"We have looked into the totality of Nolan's comments, they were inappropriate, and we have addressed it with her", an ESPN representative said.

"That's because he's a [bleep]", Nolan said.

ESPN's Katie Nolan appeared on the best show on late night, Vice's Desus and Mero, on Wednesday. However, a rep for the network has told TMZ Sports that Nolan was merely warned for her actions and will not face a suspension.

Nolan was talking to Desus Nice and The Kid Mero about Trump's thumbs-up hand gesture, which has apparently inspired white supremacists to copy him.

It's unclear whether or not ESPN will punish Nolan or let the comments slide.

The summit came on the heels of ESPN's Jemele Hill calling President Donald Trump a White Supremacist and calling for people to boycott advertisers of Jerry Jones and the Cowboys after he threatened to not play anyone who dared to disrespect the National Anthem. Hill was suspended for two weeks in October for violating the network's social media guidelines. After sharing her thoughts about her new role at ESPN, where she's only been since last October after four years with Fox Sports, the topic quickly switched to Trump.

Commentaries on relevant sports-related issues are appropriate, but we should refrain from overt partisanship or endorsement of particular candidates, politicians or political parties.

As Independent Journal Review previously reported, Hill discussed her comments a few days before Christmas, saying, "I thought water was wet".

Sporting News reached out to ESPN, which declined to comment.
