Donald Trump appears to forget USA national anthem

Donald Trump was booed by fans as he attended a college football game between the University of Alabama and the University of Georgia. President Donald Trump was in attendance at the national championship game, and some claim that footage of him during the Anthem proves that he does not know all of the words to "The Star-Spangled Banner".

Barack Obama has done both, and said in 2016 that "respecting and honouring our flag and our anthem is part of what binds us together as a nation". But then "The Star-Spangled Banner", the USA national anthem, began to play and everyone stood up to put their hands on their chests and sing the lyrics proudly, and it looked very much as through the President could not remember all the lyrics of the song. He appears to mouth some of the words while occasionally pausing and missing some out.

"Trump's been trying to get football players fired for kneeling during the National Anthem and this man can't even mumble it on national television right", wrote another.

Trump has criticised professional football players who kneel during the anthem to protest racial injustice, as well as the NFL itself for allowing it. But because of Trump's repeated defense of the song and the fact that he likely hears the national anthem more than most Americans, many expect him to know it. President Trump's mental state has already been called into question, and the bad lip sync has been identified by some as proof that the president's mental health is deteriorating.

Later, Trump took to Twitter praising Pence for leaving the game. The league's commissioner, Roger Goodell, responded in a statement at the time, saying, "Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect for the NFL, our great game and all of our players". I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius.and a very stable genius at that!
