Which Steelers should Pittsburgh rest vs. the Browns?

Former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison clapped back via Instragram at comments made by some of his former teammates.

"I have to assume when they say you're going to get 25 percent of the snaps and you get 25, safe to say things didn't go as planned", Harrison said.

"If anybody thought I signed a two year deal with a team in the National Football League at age 39 to sit on the bench and collect a check and a participation trophy, they're mistaken", Harrison said.

"I was never told I would be brought back, it was: If I bring [you] back, be in shape. They said, 'No, no, no, we got a role for you'".

On Friday, when Gronkowski was at the podium he was also asked about Harrison and recent matchups against him. "By then, I had stopped asking them [to release me]", Harrison said.

Now that Harrison addressed the situation, his attention should turn to Sunday.

Gronk, who clearly knew he wasn't supposed to talk about Harrison, dove into a Belichick impression.

Harrison was released on Saturday.

When the Browns take the field against the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field, it will represent the final opportunity to pick up a win in 2017 and avoid joining the 2008 Detroit Lions as the only teams in National Football League history to finish at 0-16.

Should the Patriots and Steelers meet in the playoffs, this will no doubt be a major storyline. The Patriots and Steelers are locked into the one and two seeds in the AFC with identical records. Perhaps, if Harrison had joined someone like, oh, the Eagles, the rancor would not have flown so hard and so fast. And it is not as if the Browns fared well past year against backup quarterback Landry Jones, who threw for three touchdowns in leading the Steelers to an overtime win against the Browns in the season finale. The next few weeks, though, may end up defining that legacy for better or worse. That can't be erased.
