Quake jolts Delhi-NCR with 5.5 magnitude

Breaking News a Strong tremors were felt in Delhi and the National Capital Region this evening at 8:50 Pm for a few seconds after a 5.5 magnitude natural disaster struck Uttarakhand.

Severe quake tremors were felt at around 9 in the evening in Delhi-NCR.

Experts have frequently warned that a huge quake, greater than magnitude 8.0, is imminent in this region, though there's no saying when.

According to the India Meteorological Department, the tremor, which occurred at 2050 hrs, was epicentred at Rudraprayag in Uttarakhand.

In Uttarakhand, tremors were felt in Champawat, Dehradun, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Ramnagar, Tehri and Chamoli districts of the state. It falls in the Himalayan region. Many people took to Twitter just after they felt the natural disaster. Even on Tuesday, there was a 3.3-magnitude natural disaster.
