Kesha and Macklemore announce joint tour, stopping in Mansfield next summer

Pop star Kesha and rapper Macklemore are teaming up for a nationwide tour that will make a stop in Denver next year.

The artists will bring their "The Adventures of Kesha & Macklemore Tour" to the Darien Lake Amphitheater on July 22. Pre-sales start Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 9 a.m. and general on-sale begins Friday, Dec. 15, at 12 p.m. As a duo, Macklemore and Lewis produced Billboard hits "Thrift Shop", "Same Love", "Can't Hold Us" and "Downtown". Macklemore released his second solo album, "Gemini", in September.

This year Kesha released her comeback album "Rainbow", which scored two Grammy nominations, after prolonged legal struggles against former producer Dr. Luke.

Kesha pulls up in a gold auto and matching outfit to save the day, suggesting that the two tour together instead of skating around. Go online to citiprivatepass.com for more details.

One dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to one of two organizations.

They announced the news in a comedic video earlier today, which saw Macklemore claim to give up music to focus on a career in rollerblading.
