Epic Reveals 50v50 Battle Royale Map & It's Available Now

A new game mode has been announced for Fortnite Battle Royale, and it's available now.

If you don't like playing alone in Fortnite's Battle Royale mode or find squad-play is a little too restrictive, how about joining an army?

In this mode you'll be part of one of two teams who are battling it out across the landscape in epic conflicts. As long as it doesn't alienate any more (14-year-old) gamers with lawsuits, its star could keep rising - even as the battle royale field gets a little more crowded with upcoming The Darwin Project.

The new mode is a special 50-vs-50 mode, and it's available to play right now.

Lastly, Epic Game stated that they are doing everything possible in their hand to bring in cross-platform support to Fortnite Battle Royale, but there was a clear hint from the developer that this is going to take some time.

Fortnite's "Save the World" PvE mode is now available in paid Early Access, and will go free in 2018.

Fortnite continues to see quick growth, with more than 30 million players since the game's July launch.

Fortnite: Battle Royale is free on PC and consoles.
