Bills QB Taylor exits with knee injury

Bills QB Taylor exits with knee injury

Taylor got hurt on the first play in Sunday's game but continued to play. Oddly enough, he led the team down to the goal line, but was eventually intercepted. Given the events of the past few weeks, the Bills might decide to go with the rookie even if Taylor's injury doesn't turn out to be serious.

However, late in the game, with the Bills down big, the gunslinger appeared in obvious pain.

This was Peterman's first appearance in a game since throwing five interceptions in the first half of a 54-24 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers on November 19.

At the time of this writing, there is no update about the severity of the injury. Due to the injury and the uncertainty of it heading into the week, McDermott would not give any indication if Taylor would be ready to play by Sunday.

Before leaving the game, Taylor completed nine of 18 passes for 65 yards with one interception. According to team's official Twitter account, Taylor was quickly ruled out after being carted off and was replaced by Nathan Peterman. Peterman threw five interceptions in the first half against the Chargers but looked more composed in mop-up duty against New England.
